Umbrella+

Frequently asked questions

If the answer you need isn't here, get in touch — we'd rather you asked.

What is Umbrella+ for?
Keeping every insurance policy you hold in one place, so that when something happens you already know what you're covered for.
Who can see my policies?
Only you, unless you approve a connection. Approving one shows the policy overview; you can separately choose whether they also see full documents.
What's the difference between the two access levels?
Policy overview shows insurer, cover type and status. Full documents adds the detailed figures and the files themselves. The second always requires the first.
Can I take access back?
Yes, at any moment, without giving a reason. The change takes effect straight away.
Does Umbrella+ sell insurance?
No. We don't underwrite, sell or administer policies, and we don't earn commission on the cover you hold.
What is U+ Assistant?
U+ Assistant is the assistant inside Umbrella+. It helps you make sense of your cover and points you to the next sensible step.
